OHIO IS "IT"
You may look at this picture and say, "Hey. Has Howie lost his mind? That is Ohio University. Can't he tell by the green?" So now for the explanation:I hop on to espn.com this morning for my daily scan of what is going on in the sports world. What do I see? This picture of the Ohio University basketball team with the headline "Ohio Gets 'IT' " Puzzled, the first thought that comes to mind, "Is Todd Grandominico a hacker?" Todd is our token Ohio U grad and I am obviously struggling to understand how this happened. No disrespect to Todd, but Ohio U isn't a regular front page feature at espn.com.
So I read on, and Andy Katz goes on and on about how good OU is going to be this year. That they will be a major threat come tourney time, thanks in part to point guard Jeremy Fears. ESPN has dubbed OU the second annual "It" school for college basketball. Pretty exciting stuff for the Bobcats who are back on the hoops map after making the tourney last year. First time, since Gary Trent (Shaq of the Mac) left campus.

Stand up and cheer,
cheer loud and long for old Ohio.
For today we raise,
the green and white above the rest.
Our teams are fighting,
and they are bound to win the fray.
We've got the team!
We've got the steam!
For this is old Ohio's day!!
