1 More Day... Than Sailing
Debbie and I are up here in Airlie Beach for a couple of days before heading off to sail, snorkel, and have a good time in The Whitsunday Islands and The Great Barrier Reef. Airlie Beach is a lazy beach town that serves as a jumping off point for the Reef and the islands. The waters are infested with poisonous jellyfish right now which precludes any swimming in the waters. The only option for a dip is in the lagoon. It was a "cool" 38 degrees celsius (Translation: Damn Hot in Fahrenheit.) We spent the day pretty much relaxing around town before heading off to the bar for a XXXX Gold (Aussie beer for those of you with a dirty mind) or 8 XXXX Golds. Lost count. Today is going to be more of the same, with the addition of making some last minute travel plans for the next week.
This morning, I woke up to the news of the man shot in the Miami Airport. This hit really close to home for reasons probably only Elliott will understand. From what I understand, the man's name is Rigoberto and he is from Costa Rica. Please tell me that it isn't THE RIGOBERTO. The Rigoberto is a Costa Rican, Elvis look alike who was extremely nice and gave us all free Tres Leche's in Arenal. Losing THE RIGOBERTO would be a tremendous loss for mankind.
I have also noticed that my work boss has posted on here. First time I have worried all trip :).
Anyways, this will be the last post for a few days as it might be difficult aboard a yacht. Adios. Wait, they speak english here also. Goodbye.

Rigoberto was not from Costa Rica he was from Venezuela. Have a good trip. Give Debbie a hug and kis from me.

I am disgusted that this Rigoberto is giving a bad name to Rigobertos everywhere. He didn't have side burns, so I think it was not the "Costa Rican Elvis". I was shocked as well when I heard this news. Say hi to the Silversteins for me.

Actually, it turns out Rigoberto was born in Costa Rica, but is now a US citizen. I hate to say it, but it could be him.

Howie, I can't believe all that you are doing, I can't even imagine!! If you are buying UGGS for people buy me something too!! AC will pay you back!! I would love to see all that you are seeing!
Stay safe (hard to say with all the risks you are taking) and most of all enjoy yourself!

Mandy. Do you collect anything? I would be more than happy to pick something up (for a small fee from Aaron.) JK.

Howie, if you have women helping you pick items, I love handbags - something authentic to Australia (I guess). Otherwise, don't worry about me. If you get something, AC will pay you and charge him an extra fee for your troubles. Aaron said to remind you to get Andy something so you keep your job; otherwise he says you may become unemployed. Ha ha.
The Great Barrier Reef -- now I am really jealous! That is a place that I would love to see but my fear of Great White sharks (I have seen "Jaws" to many times) may keep me from ever seeing it -- plus AC is a little girl when it comes to snorkling/diving, or the ocean in general so I would have no one to do it with.
Have fun!

Since you obviously aren't married to a real man, I could be talked in to going back as a "guide" to the Great Barrier Reef. No worries about big sharks in the Reef. Only problem is the extremely poisonous jellyfish that can kill you. Put on a wet suit and it is all good.
I have no idea what handbag may be native to Australia, but will find out. Just not an expert in the hanbag category. Maybe they will have a Kangaroo skin bag.
