MLK Day

Today, we honor a great american, Martin Luther King. A man who stood for what he believed in and in the face of adversity, stuck with it and fought on. In spite of threats and faced with negativity, he fought back with his mind and in a non violent manner. Our world is a better place today due to his efforts. There were many other people instrumental in fighting for civil rights, but he was a true leader. We celebrate this holiday today around the date of his birthday. He was born January 15th in Atlanta, GA. Unfortunately, his life was cut short by a maniacal killer. But, his legacy lives on for all Americans. Not just one race.
