Stock Market and Ridiculous Referee Story

I have come to the conclusion that watching the stock market is enough to make any man or woman insane. Just as you think, things are going well. BOOM. A big drop in the market. That is what can be said for yesterday. Just recently, the Dow Jones had crossed 11000 and optimism was all around. Yesterday, the market took a big downturn and the Dow Jones average dropped over 200 points for a loss of about 2%. Maddening.

Now for the referee story, this is absolutely ridiculous and it is true. Two guys show up to referee a JV game. One of the guys forgets to bring a whistle. So, what does he do? He comes up with a plan that if he has to make a call, he puts up his hand and points to his partner, who than blows the whistle. Pretty creative and pretty absurd. Do you mean to tell me his partner didn't have an extra whistle? Personally, I show up to games with a bag of whistles and always have two on the court with me at all times. You never know what may happen. Is there not a single whistle in the school that he could use? Don't coaches use them during practice? So, after refereeing the entire game this way, the girls coach questions him on a charging foul that he calls. So, how does he respond. "You don't know what you are talking about. You are a woman." WOW. This guy deserves the big balls award for our association.
